New Pres. Barack Obama has oficially signed an executive order to close Guantanamo Bay "detention" camp and other secret prisons that the C.I.A has overseas. how do you feel about that? do you agree? disagree? what will happen to all these prisoners now that within a year this inhumane treatment will stop.
Anyways moving onto news that are closer to home. As close as Demonbreun st. and 21st ave is to your house. Thursday night a few of the film students at Watkins and I visited local hot spots Sam's bar and the Tin Roof to say the least both are great spots to visit on Thursday night after your 9pm class Sam's bar is more laid back and you'll be able to get pizza and a pitcher of beer as well as watch sports game on the 5o flat screen tvs they have and at Tin Roof you'll be able to order drink/sandwiches and hear good live music as well as mingle with tourist and locals as well. We had a GREAT time dancing to 80's music and getting to know people outside our college. if you dont know what you're doing after your 9pm class on Thursday head down to Demonbreun and 21st!!!
