I am Thankful for____________ (fill in blank).

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Dear Readers,

I am currently at home in Franklin feasting in a fusion of Puerto Rican/American Thanksgiving lunch/ early dinner! To say the least, My mom's turkey is packed full of flavor! I am, at this very moment so SO full! I can barely stand or move. I am sure many of you are currrently experiencing the same. It is good to be back home with family as opposed to at school rushing to turn in work.

I wish you all a great rest of the break.

Eat,drink and eat more turkey!
Sincerly,
Yours Truly,

California here we come

I'm in LA right now hanging out at my sister and brother-in-law's place. Playing ping pong, my parents just renewed their vows, food is good, and i'm not getting very much homework done. It's rainy and chili here so I've played a lot of Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Takes me back a few years. ha. I'll be back in Nashville Friday and Manchester Orchestra Saturday. Satco before the show anyone?????

Yeah Dude,

last week was bad.
this week is better.
next week should be great.

Got my final project today in design 2 and it should be fun. I'll keep you all updated on how it turns out. Work tonight and tomorrow night. By this time next week I'll be on a plane to LA, maybe already arrived there. I'm going out there to visit my sister and family for thanksgiving.

Today, I have homework, homework, errands to run, work, and then homework. And maybe clean my car.

growing up

growing up is weird. I've always wanted to grow up so i could have the freedom to do whatever i want. Well I suppose I could do pretty much what I want, if I only had the time. For the last month I've had very little "Tyler Time." If I'm not in class, i'm at work, driving to work, doing homework, or cleaning the house. Actually cleaning the house and such hasn't even been done in a while. I only eat dinner every few days, not because I don't want to, but just don't have the time to cook, and I don't really want to spend the money to go out to eat. Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not starving or dying or even that miserable. I guess I just imagined this being a lot more fun than I'm having.
Last night Pete came into town to pick up his friend Ben, we met up at satco and hung out and on his way out of town, his starter went out. Long story short Hunt and I drove him back to Huntsville, AL and didnt get home till 5.
I have Friday off and I'm going to try and catch up on everything. Also I'm going try and relax a little. We'll see how it all turns out.

Ready for a break,

Tyler

My Birth.

Dear Readers and Sixteen-Twenty Guests,

Today, we commemorate a very special day-my birth- and so far its been pretty sweet and kick back. This is good because lately my days have been pretty stressful. Let me tell you a story though. When the bells rung to indicate that it was midnight earlier this morning I was working on Andrew Galloways set for his production I. What a great way to receive a new year of my life working on a film!

p.s.
I will update you letting you know how the rest of the day goes.

Let the Creative Energy Flow!

Ok guys...

Tonight, I did not join the hundreds of other college students that decided to go dancing at Play for free (not that I usually do anyways). Instead, I went to a local coffee shop in East Nashville. It goes by the name of "Ugly Mugs" and I had Vietnamese style coffee which was delicious! To top it off a local Americana group was performing their songs. It was wonderful! So great that it took me bak to the beatnik days and the days when I lived in middle America working the corn fields and wanting to rebel against my parents lifestyle. Actually, that never happened, but the music was so good that it made it feel like a real memory.
To add on to my night so far I have made pasta, developed the concept for my next photo project, and I am getting ready to start painting soon! Long story short I also cleaned my room and the kitchen which were both disaster zones. Did I mentioned that I got off work at 6pm and because off that I am having some well needed r&r?

p.s.
My birthday is coming up soon. As soon as Nov. 10th. I cant wait!

Farewell Dear Readers,

October is over. November has started obviously and I'm not really sure where the past 31 days went. I worked tonight and came home to good people around a fire in the back yard. Had a nice talk, they left, and now Jean-Micheal and I are watching the Sigur Ros DVD and for the 5th time I'm blown away. Please if you find the time, watch it. I don't know that I've ever seen something so inspiring and beautiful.

Winter is coming and so today i bought some long johns, they look goood.
